Rose MacInnes – artist on board

My recent post on the trip from Penzance to Crosshaven, Ireland, showed some of the work of Rose MacInnes, one of my crew. Rose is a talented young artist who has recently finished an art foundation course at Bournemouth. She heads to Falmouth to study fine art in September 2025. I thought I’d show some of the work she undertook during our voyage, as they make a rather beautiful alternative to the camera lenses.

All the art work in this post is copyright Rose MacInnes, who retains all rights to it.

She tells me she would be open to taking on commissions using the techniques shown above.

  1. Beautiful images by a talented artist. ‘Anchored in The Cove, Scilly’ in particular, a view I am very familiar with, took me back to 2019, spending many happy hours looking aft from Spellbinder’s cockpit.
